Arriving in Better Shape

Here are some more tips to help you arrive in better shape after a long-haul flight…

  • Use saline nose drops or better still, a nasal saline spray.  Not only will this keep your nasal passages well hydrated but it will also reduce the risk of airborne spread of infection.
  • Get a flu vaccination - to reduce the risk of catching flu in the confined space of the aircraft cabin.
  • Do not fly if you are ill.
  • If your flight will last longer than 4 hours, remove any contact lenses at the start of your journey - dry lenses and dry eyes can result in corneal abrasion and ulceration.
